nice place for some hiking and chillout. you should visit if you are tired of society, since you probably won't meet any people there. but also you wont find any wildlife, at least not near malaga. but be sure to dress appropriately, otherwise you'll get eaten up by horse flies... probably the only living creature there :-) (i saw a squirrel, yay) one thing for sure, if you have short pants and a shirt having a break is not an option :-D this also makes it not easy to have a look for scorpions or other well hidden animals. that makes your wildlife photography a bust. also take water since there is no populated stops. Read moreNice park in Malaga, I have only tried the yellow trail, I must say it is more of a dirt road than an actual trail into the woods. Nonetheless less there are some very nice views once you reach the top! To access the entrance via public transportation you'll need to take the bus 2 all the way to the last stop. Turn left and follow, at some point you'll see the highway, walk along it (it is a separate road obviously), after 10min or so, you should have the option to go under the highway if you turn left, don't, instead turn right, there should be a sign that reads "Sendero". Not only are tons of different routes in different levels of difficulty, but also wildlife and some of the most suprising and astonishing views.
I personally visit once a month amd have discovered something new every time!
For example, there is a mostly dry river which you can follow over the bedding to reach a dried up waterfall of at least 50m vertical drop. Amazing view but not for the faint hearted and not on a rainy day!!!!
But ofcourse you can follow the wide path to go deeper into the national.park, i cant tell much more about this as I have yet to discover more amazing places...
