Generous free parking area with some opportunities to park in semi shade under a canopy of trees. Children's play park in the corner beyond the basket ball pitch. There are three walking trails outlined on notice boards. I would not recommend the longer one no 2 because it is full exposed to bright sun with steep inclines. Some people passing us were fully kitted out with hiking boots and specialist backpacks with drinking tubes. We selected trail 3 which we worked backwards from the beach area walking through the shallows which was very pleasant after a long car ride. The flora and fauna are fully explained in several languages on boards at the edge of the trail. Our route has plenty of interesting features, shelter and l would describe the lagoons as equivalent to our wetland area in UK. I didn't see a great number of birds as the heat was significant but there was a lot of crickets, tiny fish in the lagoons and of course plenty of salamanders venturing out of the undergrowth. The trees are taller here and more mature than other parts of the island. Many have grown at interesting angles or woven their trunks into intricate laced patterns. Well worth a visit. Please take a look at my photos to see...

What a beautiful spot! So tranquil and serene, listening and watching the birds. Very well organised with marked trails, bird watching huts and lookout points. You can drive tracks to get deeper into the park, but be aware the tracks get a lot more rocky and it becomes a little like a maze, so keep a mental note of which way you've turned or use Google maps to get yourself back if you get lost. Be aware there are limited resources so bring water and snacks if you're going to be there long - just be sure to take your rubbish home. Also dogs are...

My fiancee and I visited the Park on a hot Sunday afternoon in June, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. At the reception, there are three main routes signposted, however we were informed that the most suitable route to take in June would be the "blue" route, lasting a suggested 45 minutes and ending up at the beach flanking the visit of Es Grau. Along the way we saw lots of wildlife, including birds, and no fewer than three tortoises making their way across the footpath into the shade. Well...
