Went with my housband as we were suggested to do the guided tour. Turned out to be one of the best activities we happen to do in the island. The Finca is beatiful, right in the countryside. Wines were really good (just ecological winery). Javier, the owner, explained us every detail about the winery, the Finca and the wine. It's just a must do in Mallorca! Thank you again guys!!

We were a larger than normal group for our wine tasting, yet, the vintner and his wife went out of their way to accommodate us. They answered endless questions patiently and with a smile. The product itself was outstanding and several bottles were bought to be brought home. Everything about the outing, the location, the building, the vineyard, the finger foods, altogether made for a once in a lifetime experience. Some us liked it so much that we plan to return next year! Thanks so much to Javier and Carme! We wish you all the best with your vineyard and your project of vine longevity! See you next year! Ein absolutes Highlight ist die Besichtigung dieses Weingutes. Schon die Einfahrt in das Anwesen und die herzliche Begrüßung durch Javier und seiner Frau lassen die Herzen höher schlagen. Ein Familienbetrieb mit Geschichte. Bei einem Rundgang mit Javier bekommt man einen Überblick über die Historie, einen Einblick in die Finca und Bodega, eine Einweisung in die Weinherstellung und Lagerung mit dem schönen Abschluss einer Weinverkostung mit mallorquinischen kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten - ein Erlebnis der besonderen Art. Authentisch und mit dem Herzen dabei - das verkörpert diese Familie. Auf der Finca Son Sureda Ric wird ausschließlich qualitativ hochwertiger Rotwein hergestellt. Hier zählt Qualität, nicht Quantität. Eine weitere Köstlichkeit ist der selbst hergestellte Honig, den man selbstverständlich auch verkosten darf. Viel mehr möchte ich gar nicht verraten – erlebt es selbst!

The vineyard visitation is an absolute highlight. Right from the entrance of the property your heart starts beating higher. After a warm welcoming of Javier and his wife the visitation starts with a short summary of the history, an insight into the finca and bodega, an instruction into the wine production and storage and a wonderful wine tasting with culinary Majorcan delicacies. It is a special taste experience. Authentic and wholeheartedly – that’s what the family embodies. They only produce red wine in high quality on the finca Son Sureda Ric. Quality, not quantity. A further delicacy is the self produced honey that you are able to taste of course. I don’t want to reveal more – try it yourself!
