JORGE BONET - BODEGA CUESTA LA VIÑA — Attraction in Montecorto

My parents dragged me along with them to this winery. Even though I could not taste the wine, the experience was great! They do not speak so much English, so if you do not speak Spanish you might want to bring your phone!;) They are very friendly, and what i liked most was they talked to not just the adults, the kids as well. Some things to know to get there:

1. The signs on the highway lead you to the right place, but it says 1.5 km while it is more like 3. 2). If you want to come, keep in mind the Spaniards usually don't open on Sundays, and they take a break for lunch usually anywhere from 12 to 6. Going there from 6-9 is probably your best bet. Antonio was a genial guide for the tour of the winery and we enjoyed the banter about winemaking and how he chooses his blends. His wife Olga was also wonderful (I left my phone by accident at their bodega at closing time and they went out of their way to help me retrieve it!).
