Morella la Vella — Attraction in Morella

We were amazed at our visit, not only did Isabell take the time to speak in English she explained everything in great detail for us. We were the only people in the tour group. We tried to book via the tourist information office in morella. They answered our email Stating the visiting times and request names and a phone number. They failed to confirm but we went up for 11 the next morning. The visit was very informative and well presented. We would recommend this to anyone who gets the chance. You need to drive quite a way down a rough track to get here but we managed ok in a normal Fiat. Well worth the effort! We speak only basic Spanish but the guide really made an effort to explain everything in a way we could understand. There were only 3 of us on our tour and we could get really close to the paintings and see all the details (which we'd definitely have missed without a guide pointing them out). Fascinating. You have to call into the tourist office in Morella to book a tour (4 or 5:30pm) but...

После рассказов Дробышевского на ютьюбе захотелось приобщиться к искусству доисторических людей. Записались заранее по вацапу (информационный центр Морельи) на экскурсию, причем бесплатно! В итоге очень понравилось. Гид сначала рассказывал про хутор (масию), в которой люди документированно жили с 15 века (а по факту и ранее) до нашей дней. Забавно. Выяснилось, что сухая кладка без цемента, по технологии которой тут сложены некоторые стены, внесена в список наследия ЮНЕСКО. Хм. Те же римляне уже клали с цементом, технологию, которую потом утеряли их потомки. А вот вторая часть экскурсии уже про сами наскальные рисунки просто супер! Гид рассказывал очень увлекательно, показал разные виды живописи, из разных эпох, задавал загадки, что мы видим. Очень рекомендую к посещению любителям древностей, да и просто красивых видов! Отдельно порадовало, что все это бесплатно. Пошли с детишками, сам хутор с коляской можно было посмотреть, а вот на рисунки лучше...
