Aitzulo — Attraction in Oñati

A moderate hike in a beautiful area leading up to a huge cave, partly collapsed but very accessible. The cave is bigger than initially expected. It is save to enter the cave and explore its surroundings but if you are afraid of hights or suffer from virtigo you might want to stay away from the cliff at the end of the structure. A shere vertical dropoff can be enjoyed by those with sure footing.

Amazing views of the hills and mountains around the place. Good chances of seeing large vultures and/or eagles.

The area can be visited with kids under supervision but accessible not...

Lugar sobrevalorado, no vayáis por las rutas que recomiendan dejar el coche al lado de la iglesia del pueblo cercano y no preguntéis a lugareños (como el del bar de la iglesia) como ir porque aunque preguntes a varios para cercionarte del camino, te mandarán por la ruta más difícil (cuestas muy empinadas lleno de rocas escarpadas).
