The entrance is in 4 different languages, but then when you get to the swimming pool, there are no signs, only 1 in catalan. The staff only speaking catalan and tells you this is catalunya. Very very rude. 5 mins in the salt pool, and they charged us 8e per person This is not for tourists people if you are not catalan they don't you inform you of anything and the girl that works there is very rude. I wouldn't recommend this for any tourist people.we were recommended to go by someone in the hotel we stayed in. Otherwise, we would have never heard of this place. Paseo en familia para visitar El Sali de Cambrils.

Se trata de las únicas salinas de montaña de toda Cataluña que empezaron a funcionar alrededor de 1780. Debe de ser de aprox. 1882 tal como las vemos hoy y estuvieron con explotación hasta 1.963. El origen está en la Font Salada, agua muy, muy salada, mucho más que en el mar y que por un sistema de canalitzacionts hechas con troncos de madera se llevaba el agua hasta unas terrazas hechas con baldosas de arcilla fabricadas en un horno alla mismo y donde con el calor del sol evaporaba el agua y quedaba la sal. Han sido restauradas recientemente, esto ha hecho que las acumulaciones de sal en las canalizaciones no les hayamos podido ver ya que lo han limpiado todo. Con el tiempo volveremos a ver el tipo de estalactitas de sal colgando de las canalizaciones. También hay una piscina para tomar baños como si fuera el Mar Muerto. La visita se puede hacer por libre y es gratuita, si se quiere tomar un baño o visita guiada ya se ha de pagar. No es una gran excursión, pero es un lugar curioso que hay que visitar.

Es tracte de les uniques salines de muntanya de tot catalunya que van començar a funcionar al voltant de 1780. Deu ser de aprox. 1882 tal com les veiem avui i van estar amb explotacio fins 1963. L'origen esta en la Font Salada, aigua molt, molt salada, molt mes que al mar i que per un sistema de canalitzacionts fetes amb troncs de fusta es portava l'aigua fins unes terrasses fetes amb rajoles d'argila fabricades en un forn alla mateix i on amb l'escalfor del sol evaporaba l'aigua i quedaba la sal. Han estat restaurades recenment, aixo ha fet que les acumulacions de sal en les canalitzacions no els hagim pogut veure ja que ho han netejat tot. Amb el temps tornarem a veure la mena d' estalactites de sal penjant de les canalitzacions. Tambe hi ha una piscina per pendre banys com si fos el Mar Mort.
