El Jardi dels Ocells is a little oasis tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Beautifully kept, the birds look healthy and happy and you can tell this is a project of blood, sweat and tears, but most of all, of love. It radiates a peaceful energy and the kids had a blast. The guided tour of the birds was very informative and fun, after we had a picnic surrounded by birdsong and then we fed the rabbits, donkeys and chickens. Followed by a view of the pond where we lucked out and saw some frogs and then the woodland walk to spot the statue animals hiding. Read moreWe visited on a weekday, & when the park opened, we were given a friendly greeting with clear information to make our visit pleasant. We should have taken a picnic as there were plenty of tables and several little play areas for children. We were very pleased to take the guided tour with so much information and the pointing out the various different birds, showing us where some were hiding. Read moreI love going to the park because it makes you forget about your phone, social media enz. It’s just pure nature. They have birds I have absolutely never seen before not even on tv. For example the park has birds from originally Africa, so seeing these beautifull tropical birds to me it feels like a trip to the nature of Africa for a moment. It’ s amazing. The experience I recommend 100%. If you want to disconnect and just enjoy nature this is the place to be....
