This is a great beach. You need a car to reach it but there is ample parking when you get there. And the car park is right at the beach. There is good sand here if you like building sand castles. It's very exposed and on the Atlantic so it can be quite blustery. If you want to use a beach umbrella you will need an anchor for it as they do blow away.

This beach is popular with the locals so lots of them are there. We heard no other languages while we were there. It is not a built up area. There are not really many amenities like shops and restaurants so bring what you need with you.

The water can be quite cool even on a warm day. It is a long beach and the water goes out quite far because of the gradual slope. But the sea comes in pretty fast. It crawls up the beach in a constant flow. We built a sand castle very far from the water but just as we finished it was consumed by the sea.

Altogether, a really nice beach full of families. And there is a nice little playground right next to the...

We came here with our motorhome end of July and dispite that it was busy, had no problems to find a parking lot right next to the playground. Fantastic view. Lots of families with small kids and we enjoyed watching them playing. At the north end of the beach is a small walkway that leads you around almost in a circle and at the end you justamente to your right side and are back at the beach. Maybe not good with lively, uncontrolled kids as it is not really protected...

Busiest beach I went to on that coast, and I would say not the nicest but it was the most developed. This could be because when I got there it was later in the afternoon, parked on the roadside but there were car parks, few shops and cafes on the road down, picnic tables and a hut with I think a lifeguard, plenty of families...
