Castle of Palafolls (ruins) — Attraction in Palafolls

May 2024 - Ok so google maps brought us up the wrong side of the mountain on a tiny dirt road that turns into a trail that is not meant for vehicles. Finally got back down and made it to the castle the correct way. The gate was locked and there was a construction crew on site so we could not enter the ruins. Great spot for photos though!!! Awesome view...

Very nice castle on top of the hill (also called Castle of Palafolls), there is one asphalt road from west and one tarmac from east (abrupt but accesible by car). A 6-7 cars parking near the castle. Even though not much of it is left, it's still a great place to visit and see how things used to be, you can really feel the power of what once was, and who governed the lands from such a high vantage point, it's also Incredible to see how the religious aspects were the most preserved , showing how important religion...
