Beach of Castell — Attraction in Palamós

Incredible beach worth the drive to get to. Parking is plentiful and can be paid for by card. The beach is a short walk along a well maintained path. There's only one bar/restaurant on the beach if you need refreshments. No other facilities I can recall. Looking out to sea there is good snorkelling at the end of the beach to the left, under the cliffs. Nude bathing seems to take place at the opposite end of the beach if that's your thing. Still our favorite beach. Unfortunately, there is now a different parking system that forces you to park much farther away. Although the nearer parking spots are empty. Especially last week, with temperatures over 40°C, we really don’t understand it. The friendly man at the ticket counter didn’t know the reason either.
