Vía Ferrata Escalera al Cielo K3 — Attraction in Peñarrubia

Another short via ferrata (45mins-1 hr), but works well paired with Millar (this one second). Graded K4, but this is solely due to the exposure of the ladder and to a lesser extent the chain bridge to reach it. The approach route to the start is poor, weaving up a steep slope with loose stones, but the descend is good presuming you stay high until you hit a substantial stone path initially running diagonally away from the ferrata. Definitely worth a go for...

The ladder is cool but there's not much to the rest of it, although getting to the ladder was a bit awkward on a slippery chain and cable.

5 min approach from the road up a muddy track and 10 minutes descent on an even worse track - I must have missed the good one mentioned in another review! Vía ferrata corta cuyo único interés es la gran escalera colgante que tiene. Esta escalera puede dar algo de impresión a las personas que tienen un poco de vértigo. La escalera no se mueve demasiado porque está bastante tensa.

Otro punto importante es el tema del acceso. Está bastante mal indicado, llega un punto en el que el camino se bifurca y no sabes si coger el izquierdo (ascenso) o derecho (descenso) y puede conducirte a la equivocación.
