If you’re looking for a unique wildlife experience, this zoo is an absolute gem. Even getting there feels like part of the adventure. The drive winds through a stunning mountain landscape with breathtaking views around every other corner. Just be aware that parts of the road are quite narrow and twisty, so take it easy and enjoy the scenery.

Once you arrive, the experience really kicks off. You use your own car for a guided tour through the park, stopping at each animal area while the guide shares interesting facts in both Spanish and English. The tour begins with curious ostriches and ends with the majestic lions, and in between you’ll meet zebras, camels, water buffalo, wolves, and even tigers. It’s incredible to see these animals up close in such a natural setting.

After the driving tour, there’s a smaller zoo area where the “little guys” live. This part is perfect for stretching your legs and wandering around. Here you’ll meet everything from lemurs to giant tortoises, and don’t miss Eddie the Lama – he’s a total charmer and loves meeting visitors. To make it even more magical, peacocks roam freely everywhere you go. They’re so beautiful and add to the special atmosphere.

What really stands out here is how well the animals are cared for. The whole park is dedicated to protecting endangered species and rescuing animals that haven’t had the best start in life. You can tell the staff are passionate about what they do, and it’s reassuring to see the animals living in spacious, clean environments.

A little tip: bring plenty of water and wear comfortable shoes. There’s quite a bit of walking involved, and it can get very warm, especially in summer.

This place is an unforgettable experience for animal lovers and families alike. The combination of amazing animals, stunning surroundings, and a genuine focus on conservation makes it something special. Highly recommended – this is the kind of place you’ll want to tell all your friends...

We booked online from the UK, I had a few questions initially so emailed them, they responded super quickly and answered my questions. We had a group of 3 adults and one 5 year old child. They emailed us the day before our trip explaining where we needed to go, they emailed in English which they really didn’t need to do, I could google translate it but it was such a lovely touch.

The day of arrival we met John in the car park, we explained we were there for the private tour and his face lit up with joy and said he was going to be our guide. If you get to request a tour guide ask for John! He was the loveliest human you could ever ask for! The passion and information that John bestowed upon us was simply astounding! He let my little boy sit up front on a booster seat. He gave us our instructions and to follow him and what he said for our own safety. As we began the tour in the van (which was air conditioned and such a blessing!) John explained each animal with such enthusiasm that we couldn’t help but listen attentively to him! He really made our entire tour a wonderful experience. He was kind and respectful and funny too! Lots of stories about the animals and their lives and the wonderful conservation work the safari do!

The animals were well looked after, lots of fresh food and water available, the giraffes were brilliant but the elephants were simply magical! The entire experience for the cost of the tour was second to none! For such a small cost the whole experience is so worth it! We played hippo basketball and hugged elephants and fed the giraffes, I couldn’t ask for more! We will be a returning guest year after year now!

There is a restaurant within the grounds for cold drinks and fast food/salads and snacks, and then you can walk around another smaller animal zoo, where we collected peacock feathers and saw such lovely well kept animal enclosures. What a wonderful experience all round! Long may...

We absolutely enjoyed the trip to the full..A great day out for all the family & would recommend it 100% I’m not sure why people would want to speed up the trip by overtaking cars unless you had an emergency (plenty of places along the way to pass if needs must)..it’s a Safari..Relax! At 11:00 we entered as part of a 15 car convoy (yes I would definitely recommend buying discount tickets online) and stopped about 20 times in the 2&1/2hr journey in this enormous and open park to see and sometimes interact with the wonderful animals (many who have been rescued, some are getting on in years and more born in the park) Our guide was very informative in both Spanish & English as he fed the animals which allowed us to watch them closely and in a relaxed atmosphere. The kids (4 & 6 yrs old) simply loved every minute!! We ate in the restaurant where I thought the prices were very reasonable, similar to bars in the area (vending machine prices also on par with vending machine prices in the area) and later we spent over an hour relaxing out the back of the restaurant with the many other animals who are adjusting to their new surroundings!! Again the kids and ourselves loving every minute!! I would like to thank all the staff (safari and restaurant) who were very attentive throughout and praise the obvious ongoing work...
