Bodega Tinto Pesquera — Attraction in Pesquera de Duero

Cost: Euro 30/person. What is included?: 1. A brief history of group companies 2. Wine tasting - 3 ordinary wines of about 70 ml. each with olive oil+bread, tapa, cheese. The olive oil and cheese are also made by the same company )). 3. Short walk to show old wine unit, continued inside a modern winery to see storage tanks & oak barrels in which wine is made & stored correspondingly. Then off course, to the wine store. Is it worth it?: Definitely not!! If you want to taste Pesquera´s products, I am sure that you can get 3 wines easily poured in any good Vinoteca for much less trouble of travelling and costs. The wines at the factory store cost the same as in your local store (no matter whether the local store is in Spain or the U.K., haha)!! Overall I gave 2 stars as the excursion guide was good...

We were in a wine tasting in August 2019 and bought a reserve wine that we tried to open when we arrived back to our home in Alicante a few days later. During our visit to the wineries of Ribera del Duero, we had the pleasure of staying at the Pesquera Hotel and touring the Tinto Pesquera bodega. The wine tasting experience was exceptional, and we were fortunate to meet Sheila, who was truly amazing. We were captivated by the wines and are eager to delve deeper into the world of Pesquera wines once we return home to Miami.
