Read moreEl acceso desde La Herradura, comienza en la Urbanización Punta de la Mona, nada más rebasar el Hotel Best Alcazar, por un caminito de tierra, dejando a la derecha la carretera de bajada al puerto de Marina del Este. Este camino no es para vehículos, quizás alguien se atreva con bicicleta de montaña pero solo recomiendo hacerlo andando. Es posible con perros, si saben andar por monte, si no llevarlo atado porque puede caerse. Zonas estrechas con deslizamiento, calzado adecuado, con chanclas no , o puedes justificar el nombre de la playa. Personas con dificultad para caminar, vértigos o niños pequeños no lo recomiendo. El camino discurre por monte pelado hasta el inicio de la bajada indicada como "camino pintoresco", aunque parezca imposible, es por ahí. El descenso empinado y con el cortado a la derecha culebrea hasta la playa, terminando en unas escaleras anchas. Las vistas del Puerto, del mar, de la playa y de Almuñécar hacen que merezca la pena el esfuerzo. La playa es de cantos rodados con un poco de arena oscura.
