A wonderful preserved and well presented sight of a roman bath, which later became a rural villa and then was used until the Middle Ages by the moorish population. The most interesting of it are its very well preserved mosaics. You should though take care to find out the opening hours to not stand in front of closed doors. Usually it opens until 2 p.m. and in summer time also in the evening from 20.30 p.m. on. The receptionist has good studies about the place and can give you a good introduction into the history. I speak Spanish though, so I don't know if other languages are available but there are audioguides that can be used in different languages. The multi lingual audio tour was excellent I visited in the evening on Saturday around 21:30, (it opens Friday and Saturday night for about 2 hours from 20:30), so it was a lot cooler to walk around than during the day. Read moreA long overdue review of this fantastic spot. A surprisingly large site with some gorgeous mosaics and a fascinating insight into the area’s history. The museum assistant on duty was passionate and engaged, and made a great effort to ensure we enjoyed our visit. There’s a helpful intro video and small museum to familiarise you with the history of the site and the area.
It was a little sad not to see more visitors so we definitely encourage people to visit this spot along...
