Sierra Norte Winery — Attraction in Requena

We did a tour and tasting at Sierra Norte on 26th Feb as part of a 2 winery tour booked with Combina con Vino. The Sierra Norte tour was wonderful. Our guide, Alba, was lovely and the tour was so informative and interesting. We saw all the different wines they produce, the cellar, the production etc. and learnt all about the process. The wines were also amazing and the tastings were very generous! We were served tapas and chocolates to go with the wines. Alba expertly talked us through all the different wines and helped us choose what to try. We had a lovely time and would recommend visiting Sierra Norte to anyone staying...

We came here for a tour and tasting. It was lovely. We didn’t realize you have to specify in the comments if you want a tour in English (our fault for not paying attention). However, even in the limited Spanish we could understand, the tour was delightful. The actual tour part wasn’t too long and went into the wine making process. The tasting was great and included a meat and cheese briars. We had a cava, white, and red. You got to choose the cava and the white but not the red. They were all great. We wanted to do a wine tasting and buy some bottles of wine. We were there at 13:20. The wine tasting (bodega) closes at 14:00. The person working there told us she can't serve us because she's already closing. I told her we still have 40 minutes, to which she said that it doesn't matter and that she won't serve us. She said we should go to the restaurant where we can drink wine and buy wine, however, both at restaurant prices, not the winery prices.
