Cortijo Los Aguilares — Attraction in Ronda

If you want personal attention skip this place. It's too big and rich to treat you with intimacy. Wines are good but too expensive e.g. their premium wines cost 50-70 Euro. The same wine you can find in wine shops cheaper than in the winery. Degustation itself was 45 Euro compared to 20-30 in other places. Tasting was held in a room where other winery workers were conducting business constantly and loudly talking on the phone. It was just plainly rude and disrespectful. We had a really lovely stay at the winery! I booked the wine tour with picnic option in advance and the process was easy and well managed. The tour at the winery was nice and they explained their process and practices well. After the tour and tasting we went to our picnic with food packed in backpacks. The place was wonderful at the middle of the vines and under a large tree. Although it was maybe 30C it was nicely cool under the tree. The food was salads and sandwiches which were delicious. The portions were also of good size.

Morgane was one of the best guides in the wineries we visited. She is a very enthusiastic person with deep knowledge in the field and very passion to details. The wine tour was awesome with many interesting details about production starting with the history of the region, then going into grapes, then to the wine cellar. And finally, labeling and packaging.
