The Tajo del Abanico is a relatively easy walk to a gorge outside of Ronda. The walk takes you initially through the Barrio of San Francisco and after that along trails surrounded by olive groves, and eventually to higher ground and beautiful scenery on the way to the Tajo del Abanico. The Tajo del Abanico is a stunning limestone gorge that is tucked away on the outskirts of Ronda. This lovely walk commences near the town's edge and takes us through oak forests into the deep canyon, which is lined with impressive...

Lovely walk. I used a free Gpx file to get around. I tried to upload a picture of the route, but could not do it as screenshots are not allowed 😔. Google the Gpx files. It's 16.x km walk. Otherwise you need a good map. You need good also good walking shoes, water an some snacks. There is no-one and nothing, while you are out there. While the walk is not honours good walking shoes are needed. Please ensure that you close gates when you walk through them as requested by the landowners. It...

Recomendable.
