The surroundings of Valencia has its fair share of beautiful viewpoints - or simply "miradores" - so at some, once you've visited several, it's harder and harder to be surprised. Monte Picayo manages to do that - reachable from several entries, offers a relatively easy walk and beautiful views on Sagunto and Valencia. When entering from urbanització Els Monestirs, there is a bit of a steep walk up, but the more steep places have been evened out with cement - it's about 40 minutes from there, depending on the amount of photo opportunities stops you take. Great for hiking. Leave your car down and walk up. It's about 2,6 km walk/hiking up to the cross. Don't forget to wear good shoes. On the half way you will climb up first mountain and the price will be great view over the sea 👌 but don't stop and keep on going to the top. The views will not disaapoint. Great for an active day.
