Worst wine tasting experience in my life. On arrival we were asked about quantity. So we told the host it's two of us. She demanded 5 EUR and asked which two wines we wanted to taste. I have asked if we should try more than two wines but the host was clearly treating the venue as a bar rather than a winery. After more questions she just about brought herself to suggest two wines (the first on the list and one from the middle of the list). At no point we were shown actual bottles or told anything about grapes and tastes. Finally, we got two small glasses of wine and a small platter with snacks. No water. Nothing to spill the wine after tasting (since I was driving consuming wine wasn't a great idea). I hoped to buy a small box but we left empty handed. And...
Read moreEspecially for italians and french : be careful !! We are used to have free tasting (or for a symbolic price) before buying wine. Here not at all. They have charged me 2,50 euro per glass (!!!!!) and their wine is so average. I didn't asked for full glasses and cheese but only for tasting, and when I've been to buy some wine, they added to the price of the bottles I bought also 7,50 euro for 3 glasses of wine! I never experienced somenthing like that in Italy or France. I feel pity a bit, seems they got no clue or maybe they are serious business men. The malvasia 2015 is average, but really flat and standard compare to some crazy good one that you can have asking to local farmers and producer. If you want standard tastes and 5 stars prices, this...

If it was not for the bad opening hours … told the lady that closing at 3pm is bad for tourism because not everybody wants to go at 8am for a wine tasting. She didn’t really care much as she said it’s good for her and that’s why she works there in the first place🤪 not much of a commercial spirit. There’s a younger enployeeworking there as well which seemed more motivated. Anyhow if you ever manage to visit them while they are open, try the semi-dulce which is way better than the others, as in most of the Geria wineries. The listán negro red wine (vino joven) is of rather...
