Roda Golf & Beach Resort — Attraction in San Javier

I recently had the pleasure of playing at Roda Golf Course, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The service provided in the pro shop was exceptional, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

However, I must admit that the service in the bar fell a bit short of expectations. While it was not terrible, there is room for improvement in terms of attentiveness and promptness. That being said, it did not significantly detract from the overall experience.

One aspect of Roda Golf Course that truly impressed me was the impeccable condition of the course. It was evident that great care and attention to detail were put into maintaining the course. As a high handicapper golfer, I appreciated that the course was not too punishing. It offered a fair challenge while still allowing room for improvement and enjoyment.

Based on my experience, I can confidently say that I will be returning to Roda Golf Course in the near future. The combination of great service in the pro shop, an immaculate course, and the accommodating nature of the layout make it a must-visit destination for golfers of all levels. Tought start.

Second hole can be a long par 3 depending on tee position.

Third is a hard par 4 and this is followed by the index 2 another par 4.

Fifth is a straight forward par 5 giving a good birdie opportunity.

7th is the signature hole a par 3 onto an island green.

A steady front nine gives you the chance to make a good score as the back nine is slight easier in my opinion.

The par 5 10th is followed by a par 3 which leads onto the 12th hole.

Possibly the best hole on the course I had to play the 12th a few times to master it correctly. Excellent hole.

13th is a tough par 3 which is followed by two very similar holes in 14 and 15 which while short in distance can create problems if you are not straight off the tee box.

A par 4 16th and 17th lead to a fabulous finishing par 5. Requires two very good shots to find the green in two. More often than not its a driver followed by an 8 iron to lay up short of the water and then hopefully a wedge onto the green.

Greens in good condition.

Very friendly staff in pro shop and good knowledgeable pro on site.

In my opinion one of the best golf courses in the area and you would be foolish not to play a round if you are luckly enough to be in Los Alcazares.

As a member playing 2/3 times a week it's always good to see improvements being made. During the last year we have witnessed many improvements including 18 new tees, manicured bunkers & greens in excellent condition all year round. The putting green has also been extended with areas to park buggies which is most welcome. All of the staff in the ProShop are polite and courteous and do a 5* job. Viveroda who now run the restaurant offer a wide variety of drinks and food options. There are basic items like club sandwiches etc to executive/ gourmet options to suit all budgets. OK I'm probably a little biased but I honestly think you will find it difficult to find a better experience....
