🏰 San Miguel Medieval Experience – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 A fun and unique evening out in Tenerife! The venue is well-themed, and the actors playing the king, duchess, and knights really bring the medieval setting to life. Great energy and costumes — it definitely feels like a proper event, not just a dinner with a show. Food: Simple but decent. You’re served a 3-course meal: soup with bread, followed by chicken, potatoes, and one veg, then a small square of ice cream for dessert. If you’re used to all-inclusive portions, it might feel a little light, but it’s standard for this kind of experience. Suggestions for improvement: • Serving soup while the first act was already happening made it a bit hard to enjoy either properly. It would flow better with a short intro act, then a break for the main meal, then continuing the show. • The serving staff were working in near-total darkness due to the stage lighting. A few LED candles would go a long way in helping visibility without spoiling the theme. Drinks: Water, wine, and Fanta Orange are included and unlimited in theory — but only the water got topped up. We asked twice for another bottle of Fanta and were told no. With no air conditioning and a packed arena, drinks were definitely needed, so this was a letdown. That said, the facilities were clean, and extras like a beer bucket (€10 for 4 bottles) were good value. The show itself was well-executed — the knights and stunt performers worked incredibly hard and delivered some brilliant moments. The only real issue was the story: it seemed to be a typical good vs. evil setup, but it wasn’t always clear who was who or why they were fighting. Still, the action and effort were top-notch. ⸻ Overall: A memorable night that’s well worth doing while in Tenerife. With a few small tweaks to pacing and service, it could easily be a 5-star experience.

What an amazing show. We thoroughly enjoyed it (even though our team unfortunately lost 😭 RIP black team), you can tell they treat the horses really well and the horses trust the riders. The food was absolutely lovely, even for a fussy eater (my daughter) she loved it! They do give a different choice for children, which was chicken nuggets and chips, really nice ones too! The drinks were really generous, if sat with 6 adults you have 3 bottles of wine (1 red two white) a massive fanta bottle and a couple water carafes. We were lucky and only had me and my partner for the three bottles of wine! The staff are great at getting you involved in the show, we felt really apart of it all! The level of skill the people had was insane. My daughter was mesmerised by the horses tricks, and the lady with the fire! We would definitely come again, and i know people have commented on the crowds before the show and yes I do have to agree but I dont think its the places fault, I think its a people issue. We found alot of the visitors were pushy and rude even with young children and were forcing there way through the crowds, if they acted respectful and lined up in an organised way it wouldn't happen and I wouldn't fault the staff for that as they did what they could to make it a comfortable experience. When queuing up in the beginning to go through, the VIP tickets go first, and hopefully this review will help people know that information so they dont queue up too early and have to push past! I recommend coming here and enjoying it as much as we did!

Awesome show with dinner. If you go knowing what to expect, you will love it. The show is a medieval style knights' combat. Diners are split into teams, in our night, Yellow and Black team. The knights compete with jousting, horse skills, spear throwing and general sword play. You are sat on large rows of benches watching the show. Dinner is veg soup and bread, main is chicken with veg (chips for kids) and an ice cream slice for dessert. It isn't great food, but it does the job. You are not coming here for the food! There is a general story running through the show, and it is "broadly" interactive, with them getting you to cheer and boo etc. On entry, you will be photographed individually with the king and queen (on the throne) and you are not allowed to take photos at that point. These are sold at 5 Euro each later. At your table/bench, you are also photoed as a group (family). This photo was 6 Euro. These photos come in a presentation card with shots from the show. If you don't want that presentation card, after the show, the actors and performers are in the foyer available for photos and are more than happy to do so. We got photos with all "our" knights afterwards without any hassle. All in all, it was a great Knight (haha!). Not to be taken too seriously, but loads of fun for a family of 4. Kids (8 and 11) absolutely loved it.

I give it 4 stars because, overall, it was a fun and enjoyable experience. However, there were things that needed some improvement:

Lack of organisation: when you enter you are directed into a large hall next to a huge eating area with a stage which was in darkness, so nobody knew whether they could seat while waiting to know where to go next. There are no announcements that the actual dinning area is opened. All you see is a horde of people bunching up in a small door. They don't say to queue base on the colour you where assign so you can be seated in the right place. Some announcements and sing post would solve all these problems.

Needs air conditioner or a good ventilation system: It was way too hot in the dinning area. Even the horses where sweating. I felt terribly bad for the animales and for the performers, having to run and act in those conditions. And for the workers serving food who were running up and down the ailes with large pots of hot food.

Need more staff and attentive workers. The family next to me (parents and two kids) accidently knocked a glass and it broke under their feet. They were all wearing sandals and open shoes. They asked a worker to please clean it, at least 3 times, and it was never done. They endured the whole 2 hours and a half of the dinner and show with sharp glass under their kid's feet.

It is a good show to have some fun while eating food, but their venue definitely needs to be improved. That been said, it is pretty impressive to see a huge medieval castle in a random little town in Tenerife....
