Today we visited the zoo, and we had mixed impressions.
On the positive side, we really enjoyed the lemurs. They have good living conditions, and visitors can enter their enclosure during feeding times. We were also impressed by the large variety of birds, especially exotic species.
However, there were also significant drawbacks. Many animals are kept in small enclosures. The pelicans, in particular, seemed to be in cramped conditions—they are large birds, but they have very little space to swim or fly. In general, most of the enclosures are quite small. Additionally, many animals appear unkempt.
What stood out the most was the condition of the horse—it looked neglected, even though taking care of a horse is not particularly difficult. But the most concerning case was the donkey, whose front hooves were extremely overgrown. He was struggling to walk, and it was heartbreaking to see. I will attach photos below, and I sincerely ask the zoo staff to pay attention to this issue.
Another downside is the poor layout of the zoo. The enclosures are arranged chaotically, and the map provided is confusing. For example, we couldn’t find the kangaroo, even though it was marked on the map. Additionally, the general infrastructure needs improvement—restrooms and other facilities are in poor condition.
That being said, this is just my personal experience. I think children would still...
Read moreI enjoyed my visit to the park, and most of the animals did look well looked after, although some of the animals did have really small enclosures and was quite sad to see as a fellow animal lover, I have seen from previous reviews that the staff don't know which animals they will get so they don't always have the adequate enclosures to meet the animals needs,on the other hand I do appreciate that they are giving neglected and abused animals another chance, and the gentleman at the front was very nice and spoke really good English sorry can't remember his name. The petting zoo area really needs looking at on a urgent matter in my opinion those enclosures are way to small atleast 6 goats in one tiny pen is unacceptable, I hate to be so negative but they really need to sort that out. Also they was no soap in any of the toilets. On a positive note it was nice to see so many different animals ranging from a sheep to a tiger they have lots of different species to look at, I honestly think if they make some changes it will make such a big difference at the end of the day the animals needs are the most Important factor. I can tell they are trying their best to look after the animals with the resources that they have. I also bought myself a little stuffed animal from the shop it was so cute a really...
