Empty, mostly clean, dangerous conditions for swimming. Garbage cans had a unique smell that did not make the area feel good. No public toilets, no lifeguards, very limited public parking. Hiking trail of San Felipe crosses along the edge of the rocky beach area and newer walkway. Area has potential however it is lost because of zero public infrastructure for hygiene. Especially since the beach is technically remote access. Self rescue safety equipment in poor repair and signage very limited in regards to location of any available public toilets or showers. Hint: nearest public toilets are at the Charco San Lorenzo down the dangerous traffic road with no shoulder to walk safely especially with a family about 30 minutes walk away.
