Sergio Leone, Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach and Lee Van Cleef filmed the quintessential scene of The Good The Bad and The Ugly (Zwei glorreiche Halunken in German) here -- widely recognized as one of the greatest cinematic achievements in history, ranking highly in most best-of lists. Leone and composer Morricone turned the "triello" (the final, nearly neverending shootout) into something unreal, and Sad Hill is the "cemetery" at whose center this history-making took place.
In 2016, on the occasion of the film's 50th anniversary, a group of local cineastes and volunteers restored the site, bringing it back to its original movie glory. Their work cannot be lauded and praised enough -- being there now is a true marvel, triggering rich thoughts and feelings of those who loved the film and it's director's work. If you are among those, a visit is highly recommended, regardless from where you are.

I did this on my motorcycle and there are two ways to get there. I did this on my 1200RT, a road touring bike that does not like off roading.
Both paths will get you there, though one way more uncomfortable than the other.
The path that starts at Santo Domingo de Silos is rough, it does give you a remote high view of the site that is amazing but on a bike there is no way you can make a photo. Potholes are huge, and sometimes the gravel filled holes can be a nasty surprised. Having said that my bike managed ok and bikes with better suspension it would probably be fun.
The other approach is from Contreras and that one is much better. The only thing you need to pay attention to are the drains that cross the road every couple hundred meters and that could cause havoc. To your suspension, but not as much to the potholes on the other approach.
