Lovely visit, I nearly cancelled as I was worried about feeling pressured into buying by the case, I needn't have been! adults pay 10 euros each for a tour and tasting anyway and there was no hint of 'salesyness' so my imagined pressure gone! (silly boy Jones! children go free and of course I did end up buying some bottles, 6 in total, as it's a really nice drop!! the 'White Merlot' (OOOH!) 'Chardonnay' and the red blend 'Cup') Florencia paused her grape testing in the Lab' to show us around and although only a month or two with the business she was keen as mustard and really knowledgeable, a dream employee! During the tasting Jaime J. Llabrés turned up, family member and overseer of business/customer services chap, another lovely human! Well worth a visit, these people clearly love what they do, believe in the product and honestly want you to 'get' what they're about. It's a small concern, no coaches, no interactive nonsense and my 11 and 12 year old absolutely loved it. They made time to engage with us and I'll go back when next in Mallorca to buy more and simply...
Read moreHad an absolutely fabulous visit with some friends and will definitely return. We were shown the vineyard, winery and cellers by the enchanting winemaker herself who was full of lots of interesting, personal details about the whole winemaking process. Then we were shown out onto a warm, sunny terrace where we tasted the three reds and were served an assortment of savoury Mallorcan pastries as well. The wines were quite good, very classic and correct, using French grapes rather than the autochthonous Mallorcan grapes so this would be a great winery to visit in combination with and contrast to a more traditional, DO Binissalem winery for instance. There was absolutely no pressure to buy, but we ended up bringing several bottles home just because we enjoyed them so much and I'm putting the Cabernet down to see how it ages after...
Read moreThis is a fantastic wee winery. It's certainly one of the most relaxing and authentic experiences you can have on a popular tourist island such as Mallorca. The staff in particular are very friendly and welcoming. Javier was wonderful and explained everything in great detail (in fluent English although we did not expect it). His passion for wine and the island was very apparent.
I suggest you book the Mallorcan gastronomic experience a few days in advance. It really did add to an already excellent experience. We can't recommend it enough. The wine is excellent too...
