The ruins of the village look like a war zone. In fact, it was used as a shooting location for the "Gernika" movie. The actual reason for its state of ruin was the creation of the Yesa reservoir in the 1950s.

Strange place, very interesting. Sadly, there is no information about the story of this place. There was a sheppard there but we don't speak Spanish. Definitely worth a visit, but wear sensible shoes/trainers, it is steep.
