Parc del Garraf — Attraction in Sitges

Beautiful park which is usually full of cyclists and walkers over the weekend. Stunning sea and mountain views. Plenty of different areas to park and wheelchair access at the information centre. The entrance road from the Rat Penat entrance is very winding and narrow, which makes for some tricky driving at times. There is a Buddhist Monastery to visit, if you want a tour you need to do some research to make sure you arrive at the correct time to tour the Monastery. The Parc is very peaceful and you feel like you are on top of the world. There is no entrance fee and I have seen people walking their dogs there, however I am not sure if that is allowed. I assume there are toilet facilities at the information centre, there are no other toilet facilities in the park. Or at least in the part of the Parc that we have walked in. This is a stunning place to visit if you are a fan of nature and supurb views. Be warned, the road is very narrow as you begin the climb to the park, so I would suggest going early before the road into the park gets too busy. All the signs are in Catalan / Spanish, no English signs - but we managed to find our way around. We parked our car and went for a walk up the mountain, towards the big cell phone towers. The views are breathtaking. The park is very clean and has plenty of hiking trails. We took the tarred road and saw a few cyclists and fellow walkers. I did some research and found out that this park is enormous. We plan to go back for sure and to walk further up the path we originally took. You could spend the whole day exploring this park.
