What an experience! We saw the sign of the horse riding club alongside the road, found out the information on the well structured website and contacted Juan via e-mail with the option to contact us back via WhatsApp. Within an hour he got back to us and made it possible that we join the 2-hours route the next day - super spontanous! He was always easy to reach via phone for questions beforehand and welcomed us super friendly at the place. The horses were already prepared and all looked very well taken care off. The tour is possible for experienced riders as well as total beginners. You can hop on a small wall to get on the horse (no need to be afraid of not being able to get on the horse ;)) and they know the routes and are very well trained. Still they react to your impulses. We had no problems at all. The view is amazing through the dunes, the beach, the little forest areas. Juan was a very nice guide, leading our little group but always looking back, taking care that everybody was fine. Always willing to give information but not talking your ear off if you don't ask. At one of the spots with the most incredible view he also offered to take pictures of us and did it very well.
So if you want to add a special experience to your vacation/daytrip, this should totally be an option! Thank you for the experience.
Good to know: If you are scared of dogs, let the guide know, there might be one running around (super friendly, but coming at you to great you) Juan knows some English for the basics (all the rules and information are also written on a sign) You have to wear a helmet (which is very usual for horse riding spots) Make sure to put on a lot of sunscreen and maybe even...
Read moreThe tour and scenery was breathtaking, but the service was truly disappointing. I don’t know the guide personally, yet from the very beginning the energy was hostile. She repeatedly shouted at me and openly mocked me during the tour. For the price paid and as a respectful client, this treatment was unacceptable.
I see you have replied. Thank you for your response. I just want to clarify that we arrived 5 minutes early, that I wore the mandatory helmet during the whole activity (and not my hat), and that if I kept some distance, it was only because the horse was biting the others and I wanted to avoid bothering or frightening anyone. Besides, it wasn’t easy to handle that horse and I never did anything intentionally ; and you know that very well. I also see that I’m not the only one, according to other reviews, who felt disappointed by your attitude. This reply, by lying and distorting reality, says even more about your character and confirm that you had a problem with me since the begining. It’s a shame to have to twist the truth in order to defend yourself. I’d rather leave it at that and move on....
Read moreHonestly disappointing. The horses and the route itself was great. The rest was apalling. The guide looked like she’d rather be at home. No communication whatsoever. Even showed a video at first instead of explaning anything. Literally nothing. The route was promised to be private and we ended up in a group of 7 selfie oriented tourists that were more into taking photos to say they’ve done this than actually enjoying the experience. This is clearly not the business owners fault. But given we were told we’d be alone I’m taking it into consideration as it was bugging us. Throughout the tour the guide was 5-10m ahead of the next horse and didn’t interact whatsoever other than the occasional death stare. As I said. Maybe she was having a bad day but it wasn’t pleasant. Afterwards the only interaction was you still have to pay X € more. Not even a thank you or a goodbye. Having ridden many times, with pleasant and exquisite guides and routes this was truly one of the most disappointing ones. The nature was stunning. The experience...
