I was invited by my friend to play this course. We arrived directly from airport, park in parking lot not far from clubhouse and walk down to locker rooms. So they were the first thing I had chance to observe and they are one of the biggest I ever seen, well equipped also with sauna and steam room. Practice facilities are next to clubhouse. We quickly checked in, had short chat with event manager. Grab a coffee and walk towards the 1st tee. I played firstly yellow course, which is more open to me with less trees than pink one. Front nine nine is more open with no water hazard but with tricky and quick greens. I very much enjoyed the back nine where I loved most 17th hole, par 3. Pink loop is jewel of this course. Starts with par 5 and also finish with par 5. Here once again front nine giving you opportunity to prepare for more tough shots on back nine. All the holes are surrounded with pine trees and oak trees. Course was bit wet but not soaked and I have to say that maintenance were better on pink course. Both courses are designed by Greg Norman. Back nine on pink course is quite physical demanding many elevated shots and walk up and down. Would be probably hard to chose the signature hole there, but hole number 6 is pretty impressive hole and also hole number 9 would be better finishing hole than 18th. Overall I really love this course, definitely must to play when...
Read moreNice golf course (played the pink track). Certainly has passed its prime. At around $300 for the round with clubs and cart, I expected A LOT more from an experience standpoint. The carts are VERY dated. The rental clubs were pretty brutal. The proshop was closed when I arrived and no tees were provided l, so I had to hit my 3W off the tee until I could find some abandoned tees. Every staff member was unhelpful and treated me like a real outsider. This is a true country club and I imagine most guests have a similar experience. As far as the course itself goes. It is beautiful and challenging. The greens are fast but very poorly maintained. I have to imagine there are far better golf experiences in the Barcelona area...
Read morePeople here are so nice and friendly and help me to book tee times for us on my 1st trip to Spain and Barcelona. The course’s are pretty and amazing 🤩 I like both Pink and Yellow courses. The course conditions are super great and scenery are pretty, it’s so comfortable to playing golf here. Especially when we passed Pink hole 10th , I saw the tree that Sergio Garcia’s ball fly over the top on his 2nd shot, it’s really high, therefore we gave up to copy his route😅😅😅 Thanks Real Club de Golf El Prat Barcelona! We enjoyed...
