Great views on the way up with several places to sit end enjoy the views. First half of the climb is over loose rocks, some of which are very smooth so can be slippy on the odd occasion it is wet. Construction work around the tower at present which spoils the spot. It's about a 2mile return hike with 460ft of climbing from the start of the trail. There is parking on the road just down from start of the trail.

Great walk to the top. We Googled when the sunrise would be. So We left our villa at 7:15am and got to the top just before 8 where the sun was just starting to rise into the clouds. Stopped off maybe 100meters before the Top where there is a great little opening that looks out over the sea. The dirt tracks in parts are quite narrow and quite near the cliff edge but well worth the walk up.

A beautiful walk up the headland with amazing 360 degree views. On a clear day you can see Benidorm in the distance. As you can see I flew my drone there, if you are planning to fly one, look out for the birds, they weren't keen on my presence. Another fun and free activity.

This is a relatively easy walk, and very rewarding with multiple great views.

To get to the walk, you're best to park near the beach and walk uphill a few hundred metres to the start of the path which involves no drops, chains or scrabbling - but is quite rough in places. There are several stopping places for admiring the vistas both towards Ifach, Calpe and Benidorm and in the other direction towards...

Visitar la Torre del Cap d'Or fue un viaje al pasado lleno de nostalgia y asombro. Desde que llegué a este icónico punto de la costa de Alicante, me sentí transportada a tiempos pasados, cuando la vigilancia costera era esencial para proteger la región de las incursiones de piratas y corsarios.

Esta torre de defensa, construida en el siglo XVI, se alza majestuosamente sobre un acantilado con vistas al mar Mediterráneo. Su arquitectura simple pero imponente es un recordatorio de la importancia histórica de este lugar. Me impresionó pensar en los guardianes que alguna vez ocuparon esta torre, vigilando el horizonte en busca de cualquier amenaza.

El entorno natural que rodea la Torre del Cap d'Or es igualmente impresionante. Los acantilados abruptos y las aguas azules crean un paisaje impresionante y un telón de fondo perfecto para esta estructura histórica. Pasear por los senderos que rodean la torre me permitió apreciar plenamente la belleza de la costa mediterránea.

Además de su valor histórico y escénico, la Torre del Cap d'Or es un refugio tranquilo donde se puede disfrutar de la brisa marina y escuchar el suave susurro de las olas. Fue un momento de paz y reflexión que aprecié...
