Pantín beach — Attraction in Valdoviño

Pantin beach. Home of the World Qualifying Tour Surf contest is considered one of the most consistent and playful waves in Spain. It has different peaks along the bay and a mythical Righthand point. It doesn't need big swells to work and it is often said that if there are no waves in Pantín, there are no waves in Galicia at all. La mejor playa del mundo!! Bueno, lo mismo no lo es pero para mí si. Tiene una arena dorada y fina espectacular, buenas olas que la hacen ideal para los surfistas. De hecho hay una escuela de surf junto al puesto de la cruz roja donde apuntarte a hacer un curso para aprender o perfeccionarte en este maravilloso deporte. A finales de agosto suele celebrarse el Pantin-Classic, campeonato de surf a nivel internacional digno de ver. Aparte tiene un pequeño kiosko en la zona del rodo donde tomar algo, junto zona de columpios y mesas de madera y en Ariño Las Olas by Pantin donde te servirán una excelente comida, un trato único y aparte tiene habitaciones donde alojarse. Posee dos playas, la grande y la pequeña (Porto Carrizo) como la llamamos los que vamos allí de toda la vida a la que puedes acceder cuando la marea está baja andando, sino toca hacerlo escalando por las rocas pero aseguro merece la pena. Allí estás más protegido del viento y la marea está más tranquila....es como una pequeña cala. Ojo con las corrientes !!!
