I was here for the Valencia furniture show, it's a smaller venue, but mainly showcasing Spanish designed and manufactured furniture and accessories. The venue is very neat and tidy. Well designed as a convention center. 4 large open pavilions, which have two floors each. Quite easy to get around with walking corridors between each pavilion. They had a range of simple street kind vendors. From sushi, pizza, hamburger and other types. I tried the burger and pizza over the few days I attended and the food was above average for those kind of vendors, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The price was also decent, not cheap but not expensive like airport food. The car parking I couldn't find, so I'm not sure if it is non existent or I just didn't find it, but I was able to park freely fairly close to the center with maybe a 3minute walk on the 3 days. Entry was easy, with minimal waiting in lines, on the third day I had lost our tickets, but it only took about 1 minute to get then replaced. Overall it was a good experience for an expo. Easy and...
Read moreThis is my second visit and the building works as intended, it is pretty cavernous and not everything works, in the day I visited some escalators were not working, there was no food and drink provision of any kind except by the organisers of the event, this was true of my first visit as well for an entirely different event.
The building fulfils it's purpose but feels cold and empty even during events!
Not much to add, I went to another event and things are pretty much the same. Events here work in spite of the building: few toilets (specially for women), this time (Japan weekend) we had to eat standing our in the floor because there was no provision of chairs and tables, and this time the coffee shop available during Comic Valencia wasn't available for this event.
They should try harder, but it seems they...
