The road to get there is narrow at some points but it is not that busy a road. You will find parking on the right side of the road.it is A very quiet place, very well taken care of by the locals. It is very clean and it has an area where children can play. On your way to the dam after you have parked, it is very peaceful, just some duck sound coming from the lake or other birds. Absolutely zen. This place was a surprise for us. This is absolutely a hidden gem on the island

A very nice short warm-up walk from Vallehermoso :) 30 minutes up to the lake 20 minutes to circle it and another 30 minutes back down to Vallehermoso. You can walk up by the road as there's no traffic so the cars do not spoil the pleasure! And walk back via moderately demanding GR131 that starts at the dam.

A lovely place to visit, although not much that you can do aside from enjoying the views and the feeling of being in the middle of an oasis! I recommend a small car to drive up the very narrow road.
