Beautiful Palace ( Pazo). This palace contains a little garden, which dates back to the 1800. The garden has French inspiration. Full of trees as old as the house itself, nowadays its house to the sister of Santiago Rey. The palace is big too, with old fashioned furniture and has a delightful little library. Unfortunately, you can't take any of those. After the tour of the house and the 70 ha gardens, the wine-tasting part starts, with some cheese and bread (yes, wine its also produced here). All of this will cost you 15 euros....
Read moreVisited on a sunny Dec 26th and was completely amazed to find a huge luscious green garden with blooming camellia flowers inside. The staff was also very friendly and assisted us with tasting and buying wine. Be aware that they don’t have so many varieties of wine, we were only able to taste one and they had two types on sale. But it’s because they do not produce in large quantities and I thought the wine was delicious, a crisp dry white wine. Overall it’s a great experience, highly recommend a visit if only to see...
Read moreSet in stunning botanical gardens, this is a very different wine tour and tasting experience. Took a self tour around part of the grounds, which are extensive and there are plenty of view points to appreciate the vineyards, as well as walk through amazing trees and see the camelias (luckily they were still flowering in May). We returned to the tasting room where we were able to try three unique wines, with a guide explaining the history, philosophy and process. Absolutely delightful...
