Beautiful vineyard from 1995 that gives the impression of a century old family tradition. All you see is new, but built in a traditional way. The tour was knowledgeable and the guide very nice. Unfortunately the sampling pulled down the impression noticeably... The bottles were already open, and the glasses weren't cleaned between wines (when we asked we got a small amount of the next wine in one glass and were told to swivel it around a bit, then pass along to the person next to you!). The samples were small (about 1 cm in the glass) and when asked for more the staff replied "it's for sampling, not drinking!"... In the rather expensive fee (€15) were included one rose, two red and one dessert wine. Since the assortment is rather wide, and we didn't want to take a chance when buying, we asked if we're could try this or that (talking about €8-10 wines, not the most exclusive ones), we were told we're had to pay for it. The charcuterie provided was very nice though.

This isn't our first wine tour and tasting here but there's a reason we come back. It's the best place to do a wine tour in the region for lots of reasons. The buildings, architecture, greenary, vineyards are unsurpassed and the vineyards are mere steps from the main buildings. The detail in this winery to processes and the authenticity of the history of Alicante wine production is amazing. Anna, our tour guide today was superb. The tasting at the end is just divine. 4 different wines, ham, sausage, olive oil and bread to complement make it the ultimate experience. The shop is good value for buying some of the wines and oils afterwards.

A wonderful experience made even better by an excellent guide who made our private tour - just four of us - a fantastic way to spend an afternoon. The farm was built in 2000 and a lot of thought has clearly gone into the design and layout be it the "hanging grapes", the chapel or the wine and olive oil facilities. The selection of wine was good as was the presentation (5 to taste). The wines were accompanied by an excellent array of meats and olive oils (you have to try the olive oils they are in a class of their own).
