Lanzarote A Caballo — Attraction in Yaiza

We chose lanzarote A Caballo after doing a lot of research online. My partner dealt with the booking and said that they were very responsive to emails and helpful towards which experience was best for us. My partner is an experienced rider but had a long break, whereas I am a complete novice to horse riding. We were collected from our hotel ontime and taken to our destination which was amazing! A quiet costal village tucked away surrounded by amazing landscapes and volcanoes!!! Here we was introduced to our instructor Andrew. Andrew was AMAZING! He could see I was slightly nervous but instantly made me feel at ease with his persona and encouragement.. His instructions were clear and to the point and in no time all my worries seemed to vanish, leaving me to enjoy the amazing scenery. My partner was allowed to go off and canter in the distance which she loved while I stayed with Andrew. His local knowledge of the island was great pointing out landmarks as we went. All in all this was a great experience that left both my partner and I wanting more. If you are on the island and wanting to ride then this should definitely be your first port of call.

I can't recommend A Cabello enough. I do as much research as possible before choosing a somewhere to ride on holiday and this place didn't disappoint after reading the great reviews. I did a two hour ride in the morning and had already rebooked again before I dismounted.

Firstly and most importantly, the horses are incredibly well cared for and you can tell the owner abd the staff love them. They are all like a big family.

Next the staff, I left wishing I worked there. Donna and Vera who took us out were so pleasant to ride with. Really chilled, friendly and great with the horses. I was matched to the perfect horse by Donna.

The riding was incredible, the scenery was very unique and although windy at times it was so special. I am a fairly confident rider but don't get many chances for a gallop in London, I explained this Donna and she gave me all the reassurance I needed. We had plenty of chances to split from the group and go for some nice long gallops.

Definitely the highlight of my holiday!...

Five stars are not enough! I had the most unforgettable experience at Lanzarote a Caballo. From the very first contact, the team was incredibly responsive, kind, and attentive. They made me feel welcome, safe, and genuinely cared for throughout the entire experience.

The horses are exceptionally well trained, making the rides enjoyable for both beginners and experienced riders. The horses are calm, responsive, and clearly treated with great love and respect.

I joined a sunset ride, and although the clouds didn’t allow us to actually see the sunset, I honestly didn’t mind at all — the experience was so beautiful, so peaceful, and so full of joy, it didn’t need a perfect sky to be perfect.

The staff’s attention to safety and the happiness of every guest is truly outstanding. Whether it’s your first time on a horse or you’re a seasoned rider, you’ll be in excellent hands here.
