You have to go to the Grabados Museum first to buy your tickets! There is a tiny notice to the top right of the front door. The house itself is tiny and too small to accommodate an entrance desk. As retired people our entrance ticket was to both museum and the house was only 2€. The etchings are like like those of Hogarth at the same epoch - dark and disturbing. The house of his birth is small and rudimentary with an interesting bamboo insulation underneath the roof tiles. The surrounding countryside is a strange collection of flat-topped hills and fields on one side around the Civil War torn town of Belchite and a moonscape of white chalk fields and hills returning to Zaragoza...

Read moreLa casa la vi por fuera. Realmente por la hora a la que he estado he visto el pueblo, he recorrido sus calles y he visto lo bien que está en cuanto a que es un pueblo bonito. No hay "feísmo" calles limpias, casas en buen estado, algunas casas espectaculares por el aspecto que presentan. Gente amable. Una señora nos enseñó sus plantas, plantas que abundan en varias calles y dan una imagen fresca y colorida a esas calles. Peca el pueblo en que solo hay un local donde poder comer o tomar algo. Local que está en el centro del pueblo, con terraza. En conjunto me ha gustado lo que vi. Desentona, por estar a medio hacer y porque el estilo no pega nada con la imagen del pueblo, el museo a Goya. Si vuelvo por la zona volveré al pueblo y visitaré la parte cultural dedicada a Goya que en esta visita no he visto por no ir en el horario...
