Some amazing old rolling stock and locomotives .
However, all of the equipment is left to rot and decay, and sadly there is no effort put into maintaining any of their historical artifacts. Even just a power wash to remove all the bird droppings and a clean coat of paint would make a world of difference.
The most sad sights are the old rolling stock which are made from wood, and the wood is simply rotting away in the heat and humidity. I've seen trains in graveyards that are in better condition then the equipment here.
The staff are also not trained, pardon the pun, to give any useful tour or facts about the exhibits.
There are a few indoor shops exhibits, including a scale model train display, which was not running, and appears to have not been running for some time, as I was instructed to watch a video of th same model train set, should I want to see it in action. Hmmm....
The functioning station is just adjacent, so if you are lucky you might just catch a train rolling by.
