You have to turn left about 3 km before you reach to Pambahinna junction when travel heading to Pambahinna from Ratnapura side.
Attractive place which is gifted from nature. So first,you have your own responsibility for save this without polluting it. It is the kindfull request which I only hoping from you. You have to walk about 200 m to reach Pahanthudawa water fall from the entrance . The way for water fall is somewhat difficult. So you have to climb few rocks by the help of some trees. Then you have to walk parallel to the water canal to waterfall. After you reach You can see the waterfall surrounded by large rock. There is a deep water body under the waterfall . The depth is uncertain but can predict as there shoul be high depth. Now you have to take a ticket for enter this place as entrance fee. But you dont have to worry because they gave you a life jacket. So there is no any issue of drawning while you are bathing. This place is a dangerous place for bath and have been recorded few deaths due to drawning.
This place is using for preshoot location. Due to water action there can be seen pot holes on rock surface and walls. Those are very nice and attractive .
