Ambewela Farm is a breathtaking destination located in Sri Lanka's picturesque hill country. This sprawling farm is known for its scenic landscapes, lush greenery, and serene atmosphere. Whether you're a nature lover, a wildlife enthusiast, or simply looking for a peaceful getaway, Ambewela Farm has something to offer.

One of the highlights of Ambewela Farm is its dairy farm, which is the largest in Sri Lanka. Visitors can witness the entire process of milk production, from milking the cows to processing and packaging the milk. It's a fascinating experience for both children and adults, providing insights into the dairy industry and an opportunity to learn about sustainable farming practices.

You can spot many species of birds, butterflies, and other wildlife as you explore the farm's scenic trails. The misty climate and cool temperatures add to the charm of the place, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll or a picnic amidst the stunning natural surroundings.

The farm also offers various recreational activities, such as horse riding and pony cart rides, which are popular with families and kids. You can also indulge in some delicious dairy products, such as freshly made cheese and ice cream, which are available for purchase at the farm's dairy shop.

The facilities at Ambewela Farm are well-maintained and clean, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, providing informative tours and answering any questions you may have. The farm is also committed to sustainable practices, including organic farming and waste management, which is commendable.

Farm is nice and clean. But I give this 1 star ⭐️ for the poor service starting from the ticket counter. It was 13th March 2025. We were there by 8.30 morning. ( opening time)

This person in the ticket counter was so rude for no reason. He was always busy with his phone. I was there by 8.25. He was outside of the counter and very busy with the phone. I didn’t know if was the ticket person. Even after opening the counter always busy with phone.

No smile. No hello. No good morning. I felt strange and asked where should I start to see the farm. He just pointed the finger and just said there.

Then I said please be kind enough to be friendly to people. He was shouting at me ‘ WHO ARE YOU TO TEACH ME HOW TO TREAT VISITORS. YOU ARE JUST A VISITOR’

He closed the counter glass when I took out my phone to make a video.

It ruined my whole impression about the Farm.

No one to explain where to go and visit.

Staff in the restaurant is also unprofessional. No idea of customer service.

Prices are very high for the quality. People expect the best quality in a place like this. Milkshake was like water. Not enough ice cream or milk. Yoghurt is 70 RS. Only 10 RS less. Even in supermarkets they sell for better discounts.

Tourist tickets 1500, local 250 which is going to be increased to 400 LKR by 1st of April. After paying this price, we expect a better service and a quality food in the restaurant.

It ruins the image of our country when they hire the unprofessional people like this to deal with customers. I hope the management will see this comment and train the staff well.

I really believe someone would care about the quality of service after seeing...
