A hidden cascade of waterfalls found in the road between Badalkumbura and Buttala. There is a remote access road from the main road leading to a flight of stairs that lead to the bigging of the cascade. This road is positioned wrong in the google maps. The road has a clear board indicating the waterfall with a warning ⚠️ for swimming. It's fairly deep and full of rocks and few kids have lost their lives. Once we climb down the stairs we enter a bigging of the waterfall cascade. One must walk and hike down stream where the main water fall and the amazing rock formations are found. The last waterfall of the cascade is also called the Manik gangs dunhinda falls.

Very dangerous to visit in rainy days. Possibly dangerous to swim unless you are an accomplished swimmer. The underwater rock formations are said to trap the unsuspecting swimmer as he river diverts part of its bulk under the rock formations creating unsuspecting water currents. The environment is fairly unpolluted so it's our responsibility to keep...

Pareiyan Ella Falls is created by the Manik River. It is located in the small village of "Atala" in the Badal Kubura area in the Monaragala District. About five 5Km from Badalkubura town on Buttala road, Come to Old Gamsaba Road. on the right side of the road, the sign leading to Pareiyan Ella Falls is waiting for you. The area may have been called Punsisigama. You have also marked the distance as 2 km so as not to make further mistakes.

From the beginning, the road has been aesthetically pleasing. But the road is not so super. Concrete is placed everywhere, but the concrete ends with a sharp bump. This roundabout is deserted on both sides. Pepper cultivation is becoming a staple crop and can be seen on both sides of the road. Several villagers who met us on the way kindly guide us. The maximum distance that can be reached by a vehicle is only 1.5 km from the main road. The vehicle should stop at that place and go down a flight of stairs to reach the...

Dry, sunny, extremely hot & humid. Little showers in the afternoonRouteColombo -> Buttala -> Punsisigama (on Buttala – Badalkumbura road) -> Buttala Monaragala -> Siyambalanduwa -> 9th mile post junction -> Siyambalanduwa -> ColomboTips, Notes and Special remarkThe 2km stretch to Pareviyan Ella and Dunhida falls is not good from the turn off of the main road. Cannot take a low ground clearance vehicle on that roadRocks around the Pareviyan ella and dunhinda ella are extremely slippery. It will be dangerous on rainy daysThere are huge and deep holes on the rocks. Avoid rainy season. If the water level is high DO NOT attempt to walk in the middle. The base pool of Pareviyan ella is very deep. Do not attempt to swim/bath there
