10 things to do in Ella, Sri Lanka 🌳 The laidback hill town of Ella was one of my favourite stops on our Sri Lanka itinerary. Known for its rolling hills, waterfalls, tea plantations, and the magnificent Nine Arches Bridge, it’s a popular spot with backpackers, and does feel busier than other places in Sri Lanka, but it can’t be missed on your trip. Here’s ten of my favourite things to do in Ella ⬇️ ~Hike Little Adam’s Peak for sunrise ~Admire the views from Ella Rock ~Go for drinks at Cafe One Love ~Visit Ravana Falls ~Take a cooking class at Spice Garden ~Spend a day exploring the tea plantations ~Walk across the Nine Arches Bridge ~Take the iconic Ella to Kandy train ~Grab lunch in Ella town ~Head out to Lipton’s Seat There’s plenty of accommodation choice in Ella, with something for every budget. I’d recommend staying just outside of Ella town so you can enjoy the views over the hills, otherwise you might end up staring at construction sites building new hotels and restaurants in the town (which is a bit of an eyesore). We chose Hilltop Guest House, just a 5 minute walk from the town, with uninterrupted views over Ella Gap, Little Adam’s Peak and Ella Rock from the rooftop. Rooms are basic but comfortable and clean, and we paid just £30 a night for some of my favourite views of the trip. #srilankatravel #srilankadaily #srilanka #srilanka🇱🇰 #srilankatrip #srilankatourism #visitsrilanka #visitsrilanka🇱🇰 #exploresrilanka #travelsrilanka #srilankatoday #srilankadiaries #srilanka_travel #ellasrilanka #bucketlist #bucketlistadventures #traveltheworld #beautifuldestinations #asiatravel #asiatrip #visitasia #travelasia #discoverasia #exploreasia #uktravelblogger #travelblogger #travelblogging Things to do Sri Lanka | Visit Sri Lanka | Sri Lanka Itinerary | What to do in Ella | Where to stay in Ella | Best hotels Ella | Best hotels Sri Lanka | Where to go Sri Lanka
