This park serves as a welcome oasis of tranquility amidst the bustling urban landscape, offering visitors a much-needed escape from the city's constant noise and congestion. The spacious grounds provide plenty of room for families and individuals to spread out comfortably, whether for a leisurely stroll, morning exercise, or simply unwinding on a weekend afternoon.
The children's play area is reasonably well-maintained and includes a decent variety of equipment to keep younger visitors entertained. However, some of the playground fixtures show signs of wear and could benefit from regular maintenance and upgrades. A few additional modern play structures would significantly enhance the overall experience for families with children.
The park's layout makes good use of the available space, with pathways that are easy to navigate and sufficient seating areas scattered throughout. The greenery and landscaping contribute to the peaceful ambiance, though there's certainly potential for improvement in terms of plant diversity and garden design. Better lighting for evening hours would also make the park more accessible and safer for late afternoon visits.
At 100 rupees per adult ticket for locals, the entry fee is reasonable and represents good value considering the respite it offers from city life. The park management could consider adding more amenities such as clean drinking water stations, additional restroom facilities, and perhaps a small refreshment shop to elevate the visitor experience.
Overall, this is a solid recreational space that fulfills its purpose well, though strategic improvements in maintenance and facilities would transform it from good...
Read moreThis place was a lot better before, now at the kids play area, there are so many things broken, no seats, and dangerous can cut a childs legs. Slides aren't cleaned, and water pooling at the bottom. Mud holes and muddied ground under most of the rides and slides for the entry price they should invest in outdoor mats, so if it does rain the kids can still play on the rides and slides. Theres a lot of open space to have a picnic and let the kids run around. It encompasses a small pond with many large fish and terrapins covered with water lilies. But it it does look untidy as people throw their rubbish in it, as there is a lovely bridge over the pond with seating area to look around they should fine / penalise people who throw rubbish in the pond - they have security there and one should be placed to watch over it. A walk around the park is very nice, good clean fresh air, good for jogging or walking to get fit, or for exercise, best in the mornings, before the couples out for the day start coming in for romantic meetings. They have a small cafeteria, but check for the times when its open. If its not open, just down the road you will find small shops to buy sweets, snacks and drinks. No dogs allowed, or ball games unfortunately ~ and with security there its very safe for you and the kids. There are toilets here, and should be clean, as they have a staff cleaning and clearing all around the park. For kids to play or a family day out, it can be...
Read moreIt's quiet, and well looked after park. It has security guards for safety, and they are very nice and very polite. The grounds are large and has a play area for kids, to keep them entertained for awhile. It's well shaded in areas, so you can just lie down and relax. One negative is that, no balls are allowed, tennis or football, with such space, and especially for kids energy release, this should be reconsidered. It's a great place for jog, run or brisk walk to keep fit. Just stick your ear plugs in, listen to music as you work out, 1 lap is around 600m. It's a paved track and great for start up - 1k, 2k, 3k 5k and 10k walks or runs.. There is a place just outside to get snacks and drinks if the park...
