Never ever pay in advance for the ski lesson with an instructor as you may not get the service you pay for.
Charging 500 SEK (50€) per hour the service provided is less than 40 min!
I have arranged a private lesson with instructor for my child. I was told the exact time (10:00) and the exact place (equipment rental point) where the instructor should meet us. We have arrived a little bit in advance, instructor was not at the place. So we took time to rent the ski equipment and while waiting for the instructor to handle the payment issue. But instructor didn’t show up. I asked the staff at the rental point / cash desk if they could call instructor and I was told that she (Elenor) was at the kids slope and we should go there. I asked the directions where to go. Ok. The instructor was at the slope and the lesson has started at 10:17. But what was my surprise when at 10:53 Elenor brought my child back. I took them both to make one more circle but that was the end, at 10:57 after 40 min only: “The lesson is over I have another lesson at 11:00”. Well, I went to the cash desk to clarify what went wrong and did I pay 500 SEK (50€) for 40 min. But no, I paid for 60 min service of which only 40 was provided. Unfortunately the teenage staff amateurs that are working by the cash desk and in the rental and instructor her own (who was sitting there chatting with the employees and didn’t have the lesson at 11:00 😉) were not capable to solve the problem: “the manager is not here, we can do nothing, the lesson is from 10 to 11” etc. No solution. Finally they dared to call someone who took responsibility to offer me 20 min more of the skiing lesson 🤣🤣🤣 and it is after 20 min of arguing. No thanks. So I wonder: Isn’t that so hard just to apologise for your unprofessional staff who has arranged an appointment and for this mislead. Wouldn’t it be easier just to tell me by the cash desk to hurry up and not to wait for the instructor that would never come!, not to waste time handling the payment and just go to the slope. Wouldn’t it be right and fair just to continue the lesson for these 20 min. If Elenor had next lesson, why did she go to the equipment rental point (then why she didn’t come to meet us there, or why she didn’t stay on the slope waiting for the next student). How could she continue sitting there till 11:20 until the refund was processed, didn’t she have the next lesson at 11:00? 😉 Apparently not.
And after we have left I had a phone call from a man (most probably not Swedish) who even wasn’t brave enough nor polite to introduce himself but was impudent enough to put some accusations that I was rude being upset with “his instructors”. Interrupting me all the time, disrespectful way of the conversation. Wow! What a customer service! It could be expected somewhere at the Middle East that you would be cheated, the way the man holds the conversation to a woman, but definitely not in Sweden. It is not the way the Swedish people do the business.
It was our first try here and what an experience, huge disappointment! I was thinking to subscribe kids to the ski school here and to go my own with friends and family but…...

Keine Wartezeiten...
