Björnlandets Nationalpark — Attraction in Åsele kommun

Björnlandets Nationalpark is a true hidden treasure for nature lovers seeking tranquility and untouched wilderness in Sweden. The park offers breathtaking landscapes with dense old-growth forests, crystal-clear lakes, and dramatic rocky outcrops that make every hike an adventure. I was amazed by the serenity of the place—no crowds, no noise, just pure connection with nature. There are well-marked hiking trails suitable for different fitness levels, and the views from the higher points are simply stunning, especially during sunrise or sunset. Wildlife is abundant, although you need a bit of luck and patience to spot animals like moose, foxes, and even bears. What impressed me most was how pristine everything felt—it’s one of those rare places where you can truly disconnect from the modern world. Make sure to bring good hiking shoes, water, and possibly camping gear if you plan to stay overnight. It’s also a perfect spot for birdwatching and photography. Must visit Swedish National parks. Hike is easy and very scenic. In right season it’s full with cloud berries. Restrooms at beginning of trail. There is plenty of parking space. Um in diesen Nationalpark zu gelangen muss man knapp 25 Kilometer über die obligatorische Schotterstraße fahren. Es lohnt sich aber.

Man kommt in einen Nationalpark der schon sehr lange besteht und davor auch schon unberührt war. Mit ein wenig Fantasie fühlt man sich in das Mittelalter zurückversetzt, einige Teile im Park haben sogar die Wikinger schon so gesehen.

Es gibt ausreichend kostenfreie Parkplätze und eine Trockentoilette. Diese ist allerdings ohne Licht und Toilettenpapier.

Im Park selber gibt es verschiedene Wanderrouten mit unterschiedlichen Highlights. Man kann auch mit ein wenig Glück Tiere beobachten, so z.B. Auerhühner.

In diesen Nationalpark darf man den Hund mitnehmen, natürlich angeleint. Hundebesitzer sollte aufpassen, auch hier gibt es giftige Schlangen. Toiletten Es gibt am Parkplatz eine Trockentoilette, allerdings ohne Licht und ohne Toilettenpapier. Hundefreundlichkeit Hunden sind das ganze Jahr über erlaubt, natürlich soll der Hund angeleint sein.
