This is a wonderful place for a relaxing stroll/short hike. The car park is some 5 minutes away from the entrance to the actual park (handicapped parking available directly on the entrance gate). The peninsula plus the adjacent island (a small dam connecting both) are wonderful examples of a nature reserve that preserves former ways of using the land. Cattle and sheep are on the grounds. Several picknick places are available and nicely located. The overall distances are easy to walk, and there are plenty of options to choose from.
