Norrviken Gardens — Attraction in Båstads kommun

Nice gardens to visit, but unfortunately parts of the garden were closed due to storm damage supposedly although it looked fine to me. Another part was closed off due to a wedding. I find it strange you then still have to pay the full price of 160 SEK. The garden is well maintained and has some nice features worth looking at. The shop at the entrance is a bit disappointing with mostly expensive interior decorations instead of relating to the gardens (no garden books or wide collection of seeds?). I think it's run by someone separate. Food and drinks look good but are somewhat expensive as well; you can go to nearby Kattvik for a more affordable waffle while enjoying the seaside view! Absurd is the fact you apparently have to install an app for the parking; it's not clear at all that you have to pay so we didn't do that. It should be free...

Eine sehr schöne Parkanlage direkt am Meer! Fantastische Ausblicke. Es gibt eine App, die eine Karte des Parks bietet und Informationen zu Veranstaltungen etc. ACHTUNG: Parken funktioniert über eine App, die man als Nichtschwede zwar installieren, aber nicht nutzen kann. An der Kasse kann man den Betrag entrichten. Keine Barzahlung. Überall Sanitäranlagen, die liebevoll gestaltet und sehr sauber sind! Sehr exklusive Butik, inspirierend. Kreative Bepflanzung, viele Informationen, davon fast alle auch auf Englisch. Sehr sehenswert die Gewächshäuser und deren Außen- sowie Innenbepflanzung. Auch ein schöner Küchengarten aus Hochbeeten fehlt nicht. Im Restaurant sehr freundliches Personal, leckeres, kreatives Essen, zeitgemäß in Auswahl und Portionsgröße. Kaffee, Leitungswasser und Tee inklusive. Wunderschöne, geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtete Räumlichkeiten. Dieser Besuch hat meine Erwartungen weit übertroffen!

En mycket trevlig park precis vid havet! Fantastisk utsikt. Det finns en app som erbjuder en karta över parken och information om evenemang etc. OBS: Parkering fungerar via en app som du kan installera men inte använda som icke-svensk. Du kan betala beloppet i kassan. Ingen kontant betalning. Det finns sanitära anläggningar överallt, som är kärleksfullt utformade och mycket rena! Mycket exklusiv boutique, inspirerande. Kreativ plantering, mycket information, nästan allt är också på engelska. Växthusen och deras utomhus- och inomhusväxter är mycket värda att se. Det finns också en vacker köksträdgård gjord av upphöjda sängar. Mycket vänlig personal i restaurangen, utsökt, kreativ mat, modern i urval och portionsstorlek. Kaffe, kranvatten och te ingår. Underbara, smakfullt och kärleksfullt inredda rum. Detta besök har långt överträffat mina...

This place is just wonderful. We were lucky to enjoy a some hours during a very sunny day, and we had the feeling of not being in Sweden. The garden and the different areas are all well preserved and with nice information. It was not too crowded but it was a working day during the first week of summer, I imagine this place being quite packed. Kid and dog friendly, it also offers a picnic area, should you prefer to bring your own food, is a playground area for the younger ones! Facilities well located through the park and spotless clean.
