Halmens Hus — Attraction in Bengtsfors kommun

An excellent review of the importance of straw in the lives of farmers from years ago. This free museum shows both the functional uses and artistic uses of straw and includes some incredible modern artwork. Our "5 minute quick look" turned into a fascinating hour which far surpassed several "pay to see" museums...

A small touristy shop with everything about straw :) It is a nice stop during a trip. Also go further up to see the other old houses. We did not buy a ticket to go inside, but it is a nice little walk...
